Remembrance Day ad for the Kelowna Daily Courier -- The Executive recommended that we purchase an ad at a cost of $325.00. M/S/C
NOLC Nov. 4 2015 minutes.
CLC Winter School -- NOLC will send to 2 delegates to Labour Council Officer's Development, 1 paid by CLC and the other paid by NOLC. HEU sisters Nikki Inouye , HEU Vernon and Carmen Belanger, HEU Kelowna will be the NOLC delegates. NOLC also sponsors a member in good standing as a delegate to attend Harrison Winter School on a NOLC scholarship approved by executive officers.
Protein for People -- the 35 cases of canned salmon was picked up by Karen Abramsen, and is being stored in Louse Gibson's home. The salmon will be divided proportionately between our local Food Banks and distributed soon.
NOLC Executive Election Committee 2016 -- Greg McGowan and Louise Gibson have put their names forward to be on the committee.
NOLC Christmas Social -- Wednesday, December 9, 2015 -- will be held at the Capri Hotel Restaurant following the meeting. Please join us for a beverage and appetizers.
