FINANCIAL REPORT: given by Ron Bobowski, Secretary Treasurer, M/S/C to adopt financial report as circulated.

EXECUTIVE BOARD REPORT/ACTION CORRESPONDENCE
There is no action correspondence.
Amnesty International sent a thank you for our donation.
BC Health Coalition thanked us from renewing our annual membership.
The December 5, 2012 meeting will be held at our former location of 1091 Gordon Drive and we will be holding an after meeting, Christmas celebration with appetizers and beverages.

REPORTS OF LOCAL UNIONS/STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS/CLC REPORT:
Standing Committee: Political Action
Karen Abramsen, UFCW 1518, NDP President of Westside Kelowna Constituency, thanked the North Okanagan Labour Council for hosting the NDP Caucus Meet & Greet this evening. She also thanked South Okanagan Boundary Labour Council for donating funds toward the event as well.
CLC Report -- October 2012 report was late for the last meeting, and a synopsis was provided to the meeting. The report is attached to the minutes.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
CLC 2013 Winter School -- The deadline for registration of winter school is mid-December. The NOLC will be holding an election for those who wish to be sponsored to attend. NOLC sponsors 1 member for the NOLC scholarship. NOLC elects and recommends one member, for one CLC scholarship. It is hoped that those attending Winter School will bring the new knowledge and skills back to the NOLC and the broad labour community....If you are not able to attend the December 5 meeting please let us know in advance so that your name can be added to the ballot.

NEW BUSINESS:
Shane Simpson, NDP Labour Critic, guest speaker
Susan Bauhart, COTA - spoke about the foreign temporary labour workers. A motion was made to send a letter to the Federal Labour Minister regarding the NOLC position. M/S/C

FINAL CREDENTIALS REPORT: 51 Present with 23 Delegates 28 Guests

GOOD & WELFARE:
NDP Tri-Constituency Christmas Celebration Luncheon, December 2, 2012. The luncheon is being held at Hanna's Restaurant. Doors open at 11:30 am, Lunch at noon. Special guest speaker will be Adrian Dix, Official Leader of the Opposition. Please call Karen at 250 769 1977 for tickets.
