EXECUTIVE BOARD REPORT/ACTION CORRESPONDENCE:
Amnesty International - A motion was made to donate $150.00 to update our annual membership. M/S/C
Council of Canadians - donation request was tabled to the June 10 meeting.

STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS:
NOLC Summer Camp contest -- the draw is taking place at the June 10th meeting. We need more entries, please call
Ronn Dunn at 250 768 8909.
BCGEU "Brothers on the line" -- Rob Wotherspoon -- please join us on Wednesday, May 27 at 7:00 pm
United Way Representative for NOLC -- Ken Robinson, HEU has agreed to be the delegate for NOLC to sit on the UW Board
Protein for People -- A motion was made to purchase the PfP canned salmon for to distribute to our local food banks of a cost of up to $1000.00. We will be sharing the cost along with our South Okanagan Boundary Labour Council. M/S/C
Labour Day 2015 -- Andrew Pritchard reported that plans are underway. We are presently looking for Union support in donations; monetary, merchandise or physical help, be used at the event for prizes and giveaways. Please call Andrew at 250 826 4719.
Day of Mourning -- report was made by Doug Gibson, BCFORUM and Ron Bobowski. CUPW. Amalgamated Transit Union 1722 booked off Brother Tim Rowen to attend and provide a food truck to have lunch available.
June 10, 2015 NOLC Social -- following the meeting will take place at the Capri Hotel in the restaurant area. Appies and a beverage will be served.
