NOLC Executive Council election 2015 - Nominating Committee Chair -- Greg McGowan -- The election takes place at our February 4, 2015 meeting. If you wish to submit your name for a position either email Greg or do so at

CLC Winter School 2015 -- CLC will be notified that NOLC will be sending delegate(s) and the names of those delegates are: Laureen Freayh, Parliamentary Procedures & Public Speaking, Nikki Inouye - Labour Council Officer Development on behalf of NOLC. A motion was made to send the two to CLC Winter School, M/S/C
Protein for People -- deferred until the April 8, 2015 meeting
Day of Mourning 2015 -- Karen Abramsen, UFCW 1518 will head up the committee with Wendy Mah, BCGEU assisting.
Gert Beadle Award Nominations -- Carole Gordon, COTA, was nominated by the NOLC for the 2015 Gert Beadle award.
Union Affiliate update -- A committee will be formed to address this project. A motion was made to spend up to $2,000.00 to complete this project by April 2015. M/S/C
NOLC Meeting Minute Mail out -- CUPE Regional office had been doing our mail out for many years and has recently stated that they are no longer able to continue on with this task. The Recording Secretary Cheryl Stone will take on this project. December NOLC minutes will be mailed out along with the January minutes to those who have requested mail out.
FINAL CREDENTIALS REPORT: 23 Present with 20 Delegates 3 Guests
GOOD & WELFARE: World Community Film Festival March 14 & 15, 2015. A display table is available for any
