FINANCIAL REPORT: report given by Ron Bobowski, Secretary Treasurer to adopt financial report as circulated. M/S/C

EXECUTIVE BOARD REPORT/ACTION CORRESPONDENCE

BC Human Rights Coalition -- newsletter March 2014, membership. A motion was made to become a member for their annual fee of $20.00. M/S/C
Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives -- membership renewal. A motion was made to renew our 2014 membership with a donation of $100.00. M/S/C
Our Times -- fundraising drive. A motion was made to donate $50.00. M/S/C
Amnesty International annual renewal -- receive and file M/S/C

CLC Report -- none

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Day of Mourning, Monday, 28, 2014 April -- noon at Ben Lee Park. A food vendor will be present for lunch/coffee etc. Hope to see everyone in attendance.
NOLC Kids summer camp contest -- Jubilee and Silver Lake Please call/email Ronn Dunn, 250 470 2385, ronndiane66@gmail.com if you do not have an entry form, also check our website, www.members.shaw.ca/nolc, and Facebook page.
NOLC Municipal election 2014 -- planning is in the works, please recommend any union/labour-friendly candidates to Recording Secretary, Cheryl Stone, nolc.cstone@gmail.com.

NEW BUSINESS: Union affiliate re-affiliation drive -- A discussion was held regarding re-affiliation of delegates to the North Okanagan Labour Council. This will be re-visited at the June meeting in regards to organizing a committee to take on the project during our summer break of July and August.
