The BCFED Health & Safety Centre will be in several communities across British Columbia between now and the end of June offering a variety of our OHS courses to assist workplace develop their OHS prevention skills.
The Centre is the largest provider of OH&S Committee and Supervisor education in British Columbia. We can assist workplaces comply with new provincial mandatory educationrequirements.

Joint health and safety committee members, including worker and employer representatives, play an important role in workplace safety. Members' duties include identifying health and safety problems in the workplace, consulting with workers and the employer, and making recommendations around workplace health and safety.
Each member of a joint health and safety committee is entitled to eight hours of leave per year to attend occupational health and safety training courses.
Funded by the Workers Compensation Board of British Columbia and delivered by the BC Federation of Labour, the BCFED OH&S Centre is the largest provider of this type of OH&S education in the province. Take advantage of this local, cost effective education opportunity for you organization.
